Torrefazione Gourmet roastery was founded in 2002 in Imola, in the province of Bologna (Italy). For over twenty years, we have been creating customized coffees for small and large clients, from private individuals to baristas, to large distributors. Our strengths are the wide variety of products offered, the ability to create custom blends for each client, and the continuous search for cutting-edge products.

Over the years, we have created more than 150 different Gourmet branded coffees, in addition to hundreds of custom blends, tailor-made for each of our small and large clients.

One ingredient unites all GOURMET COFFEES: care in every phase of the process. The selection of the best high-altitude plantations with hand-picked fruits, slow and gentle roasting, and air cooling.

Each step is crucial to achieving that extraordinary result in the cup, which is the perfect balance between aroma, body, and sweetness.

“The greatest satisfaction is seeing our clients happy while tasting the coffee we made for them.”

Together with our clients, we have created entire lines of coffee with international success, such as the Gavetti Line by Felfel.

We can communicate in English, German, French, and Spanish.

To offer high-quality custom coffees, we select only the best high-altitude plantations with hand-picked fruits, then carry out a slow and gentle roasting, air cool the beans, and proceed with careful blending.

Every phase of the process is meticulously followed to ensure that every custom coffee achieves that extraordinary result in the cup, which is the perfect balance between aroma, body, and sweetness.

Our blends are born from typical Italian tradition recipes. This results in fruity or less aromatic blends, full-bodied cups with notes of toasted bread or chocolate, and very creamy and extremely full-bodied coffees.

It is precisely in this area that all the experience and passion that have guided our work for three generations can best be seen. The art, culture, and passion passed down from father to son are transmitted in the intense aroma and velvety taste of our coffees: thus, all the craftsmanship MADE IN ITALY is preserved in a cup.

Furthermore, we have always been attentive and sensitive to the environmental protection and to the rights of the people.

Attention to the environment is also evident in the choice to install photovoltaic panels on our warehouses, thus producing renewable energy and reducing CO2 emissions.

It is our precise duty to reassure those who buy Torrefazione Gourmet Roasting products that they respect the Earth and the health of those who cultivate them: this is why our company is proud to have obtained Organic and Fairtrade certifications.

Fairtrade means respect for human rights and nature, but also quality and love for those who do their work with passion.

As much as 80% of the coffee we drink every day is grown by 25 million small producers in rural areas of Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia, and Indonesia. Market price instability, rising production costs, lack of basic services (schools, hospitals, transportation, and electricity), combined with climate change, make the daily work of these growers increasingly difficult.

For this reason, TORREFAZIONE GOURMET COFFEE ROASTING has chosen the Fairtrade certification for its organic AMA blend. This certification ensures that producers are guaranteed a fair price, an additional margin to invest in community development projects (Fairtrade Premium), technical support for sustainable cultivation practices, and quality improvement of the product. The transition to organic farming is also supported: the AMA blend is also organic.

Adopting an organic production method means avoiding the excessive exploitation of natural resources, particularly soil, water, and air, instead using these resources within a sustainable development model.

The organic agriculture certification was granted to TORREFAZIONE GOURMET COFFEE ROASTING because a series of rules established in Italy by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies were respected in every phase of the production process. Controls were carried out in every single part of the production cycle, from the start of production through the transformation phases and storage.

The certifications obtained reflect our constant commitment to a work ethic that respects not only nature but also future generations.
